What do we know about simple machines?

WALT... find out what we already know so that we can find what we need to know

So on Friday we looked at the Edheads site and today we completed a pretest about the types of simple machines by looking at a picture and naming it. We then completed sentences where we wrote the machine type in the descriptions and then matched picture and simple machine names. Lastly we completed a scavenger hunt. It was fun. We had lots of pictures around the room. We had to work in pairs to find two examples of each type machine and glue them on our sheet. On the other side of our sheets we had to glue two examples of things that were not simple machines.
