Levers
A lever is a simple machine and simple machines make work easier.
A lever is a straight rod or board. It is like a hand shovel. A lever is made out of 3 main parts, the fulcrum, load and effort.
There are three types of levers – third class, second class and first class. Here is a diagram of the different levers.
A lever helps people by lifting heavy things a lot quicker and easier.
Without a lever people would struggle to move heavy things.
