Use an opening statement or sentence eg a definition
Write an ending or summary statement/sentence
Use time connectives (next, later. firstly)
Use Science words
Use cause and effect (because, so, then, so, if)
Use the present tense
Use paragraphs when stating new ideas
Confirm each sentence (capitals and full stops)
Use notes to write full sentences
Write in a logical order
Include diagrams and labels to help the reader understand
Write a title(may be a question eg How does and lever work? or What is a lever?)
Use action words (verbs)
Use pronouns (their, they them)
Proof-read and edit our work
Publish by hand or on computer
