Today we graphed our pets. Annie was very proud of the way we presented our data. We went to a web site and learnt heaps bout the features of a bar graph. It was an interactive site so we were able to use the site again after we had finished our activity. We labelled the parts of a graph by cutting and pasting labels onto a graph. Our next job was to survey the class to see what types of pets Room Ten have.

We also completed a questionnaire about things we are good at. Tomorrow we will use this information to make a 'Wanted Poster' (wanted for good things rather that bad things).

We did some great writing today about a Tarantula. Annie showed us a photo of one and we had to use describing words (adjectives) and strong verbs in our descriptions. There was a lot of awesome writing. Annie also modelled planning so we had a model to use if think about if we had no ideas. Proof-reading and editing is something a lot of us are working on.
