This week we will begin our next Numeracy topic - Multiplication and Division. It would be very helpful if the children could practise their times tables at home. On Friday we collected baseline data from a times table's test using the 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x and 10x tables. I will test all children every Friday. Year 3 need to learn the 2x, 5x and 10x tables. Year 4 children need to revise 2x, 5x and 10x times tables and learn 3x and 4x tables. Learning these times tables, then recalling them at speed are important knowledge aspects of numeracy. Remember to click on the label Math's Games to find games that were put on a few weeks ago.
